About The 4Cx API

4Cx is beginning to support automated play through the API. This allows users to connect to markets programmatically, whether they are learning to code, experimenting with an agent, or building a strategy.

API play is available in either Gold Coins mode or Sweepstakes mode, depending on the mode selected in your account UI. If your account is set to Gold Coins mode, API activity will take place in Gold Coins mode. If your account is set to Sweepstakes mode, API activity will take place in Sweepstakes mode.

The main goal of API access is to help users create orders and improve the markets available on 4Cx. Automation that adds liquidity, creates more available prices, and improves the overall user experience is encouraged.

Taking existing orders only is not expressly prohibited. However, API activity may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. For example, using automation to take a price you like is different from scraping injury alerts or other fast-moving news to exploit stale markets.

There are currently no additional fees to use the API. All markets on 4Cx remain 0% commission on offers and takes. However, API access is not unlimited or unconditional. In the future, certain accounts or activity patterns may be subject to reduced rate limits, small delays, or other limits designed to protect the user experience.
